Ahem.

It wasn't a patch on the Hogfather. There were definitely good bits, Tim Curry and Jeremy Irons were very enjoyable, but it all seemed a bit shaky to me. Perhaps the grandiose locations didn't translate too well without a budget in the hundreds of millions, and God knows David Jason isn't bloody Rincewind, but it was altered too much from the source (I know a certain amount of alteration is inevitable) and just didn't sit right with me.
