Hogfather on Sky 1
I've seen a few adverts for this now (well, the same advert several times). Most of the emphasis is being placed on the fact that it is Starring David Jason. There was an article in Sky magazine as well but I think it got thrown away (otherwise I would scan it).
Also there is a making-of programme on Sky 1 on 16/12 at 2pm. Think I'll record that and watch it after the actual show.

RE: Hogfather on Sky 1
At last! They put up some online bumpf!
I really don't see why David's getting the centre of the pic on this one though... shouldn't it be Death? Oh well.
It's also rather a shame that the larger wallpapers available for download are just rather badly upscaled versions of the 800x600 version.
You'd think with a budget of £6 million and therefore presumably a lot riding on this adaptation they'd be wanting make sure everything's tip-top with the freebies

They're probably just a bit behind the times, mate.
Anyone know what Michelle Dockery (Susan) has done before? Don't think I've ever seen her in anything...

RE: Hogfather on Sky 1
Michelle Dockery is a theatre actress. She's been in a few plays at the National so chances are good that she can actually act.
Really looking forward to this now - even though we've just booked a holiday for the 18th-19th. Will have to set the DVR, although I think it's being repeated a week later.

I've seen some well dodgy wishlist cast-list things online. Scary stuff. This line up isn't too bad at all.

Just in case no one else saw it - there was an advert earlier for the making-of programme, it's going to be on tomorrow (10th) at 8pm. The advert was quite long and showed various clips etc, it all looks very good!

RE: Hogfather on Sky 1
Apologies for the double post.
Just watched the making-of documentary. It all looks very good - I was quite impressed with the way it all looks *right*, if you know what I mean - I could look at the scenes and think, oh yes, that's the Discworld. I'm quite excited about this now.

I'm going to need some dried frog pills to keep me calm about this....
