New Discworld book!

I really should try and stay on top of the news.

Quote:
Despite the disease, the subsequent media blizzard, and his appearance at an Alzheimer's conference ("Personally I'd eat the arse out of a dead mole if it offered a fighting chance," he memorably said), Pratchett has already started on the next Discworld novel, Unseen Academicals. It satirises the world of football - "Jesus, though, how could you satirise modern football? Talk about a target-rich environment" - in the same manner as Making Money took on banking, and The Truth took on journalism.

Making Money, quite frankly, has more and more relevance these days with people saying "Reccession." sotto voce. Very prescient release, there.

That book seller link didn't work for me Sad
But I searched on wikipedia and found it XD
Looks like it's going to be a good book, not sure how he'll manage to fit a plot around a fotball team like..... no doubt denizens of the dungeon dimensions will somehow be involved Tongue

Saying that, in a few of his books I've thought "How could he turn that into a good book?!" and he's always managed to write a great story XD

The man's got a marvellous imagination. He could write a book based around a flat-pack furniture company and it would be great Wink
